Once after signing in, you are allowed only a limited functionality of the application until you complete the KYC process. You are encouraged to complete this step to enjoy the Shift experience to its fullest.

For the first step, choose your type of business- whether you are a sole trader or a registered business.

The second step is photo verification where you are requested to take a picture or send a saved copy for Identification purposes and then we move to billing information where we take the address you will be billed to and the bank details. Once the bank details are verified, we move to document verification where you have an option of choosing manual or instant verification.

Instant Verification

Enter your Aadhar number and GSTIN and click on send OTP. You shall receive a password to the number linked with your Aadhar. Enter that number in the space provided to verify your KYC details.

Manual Verification

This has multiple options including Aadhar photos, PAN card and GST detail which are to be uploaded by the seller and are verified by Shift.

The document verification is the final step and can be done instantly or by manual verification. To verify automatically, fill in the  CIN and GST details where requested and an OTP is generated with the associated number and is requested to be entered. Your KYC is verified once the correct OTP is entered.
